Re: [OOC] Behind the Lines

Well, we could use that rule now. We are already pretending we are Cliath, why not pretend to be a pack as well mechanically.

Re: [OOC] Behind the Lines

It appears as though everyone has visited in the last twenty-four hours, so if I don't get any posts before this evening I will respond to those who have(?).

I probably won't be able to post in the following handful of days, due to a family funeral. Feel free to NPC me if needed.

Re: [OOC] Behind the Lines

Eh, incidentally (and because I have a few free minutes while waiting for the bus), ordinarily this scene would be at a table, so the back-and-forth would be quick. However, since we're in a pbp, I feel it's okay to say: these wolves are clearly not natural. At the very least they're triplets. They're not Wyrm-tainted, per se, but there is something definitely off about them (including their behavior, appearance, etc).

Re: [OOC] Behind the Lines

I will try to post this evening, but it may be Tuesday. (Work just re-started, and we have a major test today because the local ministry of education doesn't bother doing anything silly like 'planning ahead' or 'letting people know when major tests will occur'. ;) I'm hoping not to have to grade tests at home tonight, but my schedule's all screwy as a result of said test.)

Regardless, how is everyone doing? Any interesting plans for the holidays? Here, we don't have any more holidays for about four months. Yeesh!

Re: [OOC] Behind the Lines

I'm good. I've got two weeks off work, so I'm going to spend the first one cleaning up in this pigsty I call an apartment, and the second one getting some creative work done. :) And there's a Christmas dinner planned in there somewhere, too.

Oh, very nice! When you say "planned," do you mean someone else is making it? Or you are? (I vote for turkey, if anyone is interested. ;)

No, it's me applying my culinary skills to the season. But hailing from the savage northlands much like my character, I'll be glazing a nice Christmas ham. ;)

Ham?! Ewwww.... I mean, uhm, be-ew-tiful! Yeah, that's the ticket... ;)

Sorry for no post today, guys - my class invited me to a bonfire this evening (well, the bonfire was - I was actually invited this morning). T'was lots of fun. I will try to get a post up tomorrow, but I may have a date after school, so it depends on what time I get back. For your sake, I hope I get back early... but for mine, I hope I get back late. ;)

Regardless, I will post ASAP, and I really apologize for my silence.

Re: [OOC] Behind the Lines

I dont have any plans for Christmas I suppose im just going to go buy a big steak and saute Onions,Bell peppers and mushrooms. I might try to make a beef wellington.
Also fun fact my family has traced its ancestors all the way back to 1200ad.
and because we are such family history freaks. There was a ancestor of mine born in 1923 named Delbert who was extremely observant. and then his father James Edward Harvey was born in 1898.
And went of to fight in WW1 being a poor farm boy trying to have a better life. His son Delbert Fought in WW2 following in his fathers footsteps. Also another Ive learned is most people in my family for close to the last 250 years have joined the military and normally do Exceptional.

One of my favorite Ancestors is Blassingame William Harvey 1792-1867 who ended up getting married to James Bowie`s wife he Did exceptional in the war of 1812 and was given a lot of land in texas.
which that land is now the land that makes up Sam Rayburn Reservoir as well as a few hundred acres of land in angelina texas. Every day I wake up im surprised that my last name is Harvey despite most of my ancestors going of to war and dying or having serious mental issues. And still managing to have a few kids. Also Blassingame came to america with his father which my family hasnt been able to find his real name but instead a name given to him by native Americans Little-Bear harvey.

now once we get past Blassingame and his father my ancestors are all English for the most part.

another cool thing is my Family is related to William Harvey the man who Discovered the circulatory system. (Sorry for the big post enjoy talking about my family lineage)

Re: [OOC] Behind the Lines

Delbert: that is super interesting. Thanks for sharing! I spent a good twenty years in Texas (Houston, Austin).

All, I will try to get a post up tonight. I apologize that it isn't already up. I'd love to say "great date," but in point of fact, I woke up sick as a dog this morning (losing my voice, fever, the whole shebang). I'm hoping dinner here, shortly, will help with my strength and, if it does, I'll get a post up after. Otherwise - and again, apologize - it won't be until tomorrow. (If you're wondering, this is my least favorite part of teaching... every year, this time, without fail. Ugh.)

Delbert, that's fascinating! Thanks for sharing!

ST, hey fellow former Austinite! ATX represent!

Everyone, I'm sorry I haven't been posting much, I've been extremely under the weather. I should be back on top of things some time within a few days after Chritsmas.

In other news, it's been a minute since I've done werewolf combat, so if I've messed something up please just let me know which step and what to reroll.

Re: [OOC] Behind the Lines

I will post this evening.

Also, an update on my schedule: it looks like I wont have time to post on Sundays and Wednesdays for the foreseeable future (well, probably the end of the school year, but I don't know for sure). I've been asked to take on some extra classes those days after school (low-level learners).
