Expedition Log

Assembled on these yellowing and water warped pages are the collected knowledge of those who set out with the Spellspire Eludicate to parts unknown.

OOC: This will serve as a glossary of the NPCs you've encountered, monsters you've met, important places you've visited and other pertinent information from your travels.

The Composition of the Elucidate

The Spellspire is twelve stories tall, it is traversed by using Translocators located on each floor and a half dozen are available on the ground floor reception hall.

Reception Hall - First floor of the tower. A huge vaulted ceiling, the large open area is clear of furniture in order to ease comings and goings
One Translocator on this floor was damaged upon arrival, it will only go from the Reception Hall and to the top floor and  back again.
Eleventh Floor - The Workshop, run by Zevesh, is located here, its forge is home to any tool imaginable and capable of working any project.
Top Floor - The Arcanosphere resides here, the heart of the Elucidate, it is also where controls lie in order to move the tower.

Crew of the Elucidate

The Elucidate set out with a crew of 26. Eight were killed upon the initial crash landing and were MIA leaving a remaining sixteen members of the initial crew.

Eldreth of Rencor - Head of the Expedition, appointed by the Paramount of the Tower of Mages
Taelyn - Head Healer of the Elucidate
Cavek - Mage of Multiplicity
Zevesh - Lead Runesmith of the Elucidate workshop
Faldra - Head Navigator of the Elucidate
Haemish- Mage of Transmutation, the mage is positively ancient.

Improvements to the Elucidate

Miraculous Food - Another victim of the crash, the food conjuring services of the Elucidate were destroyed upon landing, but quickly repaired by Aurland and provide an endless source of food and water so long as the Arcanosphere within the Elucidate is functional.

Healing Quarters - While initially rendered inoperable during the crash of the Spellspire, Arzin committed resources to their repair.
Current Status: +20% HP Healed Per Week

Elucidate's Fortifications - A very solid wall which surrounds the tower in the shape of a five pointed star and situated with five lookout towers offers protection to the lonely spire, summoned up by the conjurer Aurland.

Stabilized Arcane Field - Three beacons have been placed around the Elucidate and they create and artificial arcane weave which simulates the way magic behaves back in Aleteros.
Complication: Leaving the barrier gives a person an erratic charge for (1 adventure or 1 week, whichever is longer) and means that magical side effects are guaranteed to occur during that time.

Discoveries

Alien Spirits - Strange spirit like nothing in Aleteros inhabiting meticulously carved statues of humans were arrange in a circle. The spirits manifested physically if their statue was destroyed. Misshapen and utterly foreign, these spirits seem violent by nature.

The Gutted Ship - A metal ship lying in a valley of jagged rocks and inhabited by cannibalistic savages, the ship is alien in its design and composition. It offers a plentiful source of materials, but also

Mysteries

The Captain's Log - Upon the Gutted Ship a log book was uncovered, but is written in a foreign language which will require deciphering.
The Guarded Seed - Hidden within a living fortress and guarded by a powerful sentinel, this seed is clearly something of importance.
