My Forgotten Realms are a mirror of the things that have happened in my game. Characters make a difference in the world. If you meet and marry a King or Queen it will be part of my realms lore. There are NPCs but they are a part of your story you are not apart of their story in many cases the two become the same.

AT A GLANCE: WaLerdeep is the most important and influential city of the North, and perhaps of all Faerun Waterdeep is located on the
Sword Coast, 150 miles north of Daggerford and is reached by paved, well-patrolled roads. It is the hub of trading from the mineral-rich lands to the north, the Merchant kingdoms of Amn and Calimshan to the south, the kingdoms of the Inner Sea to the west, and the sea kingdoms and traders to the west.

Waterdeep has seen much strife in the past few years. The city by the Sword Coast, has seen an attempted invasion of things from the Sea. Which occurred when the Pirate King Agmorlond of the Seven Sails pilfered a ship that had nary a soul upon it but a great chest hidden in the very wall of the ghost ship. He opened it and allowed what was inside to escape. he said if was an orb that levitated itself, and shot like a shooting star out the hutch into the water where it pulsed beneath the waves and glowed like the moon at night. Then things began to escape. In a show of power some nobles, and several homes were plundered and people were dragged away into the night. The adventuring group known as The Deadly Dogs happened to be in Waterdeep at the time, and made the abductions lesser than they would have been, fighting the things that would take the innocent away. However, they also admitted to some of their members needing a stay among the Temples, as the dwarf twins Wobalgoad Steelshield & Xoabolgoad Steelshield were pushed to the brink of madness.

The elven witch Quisalistriel Foxfur was granted title and land in Waterdeep when she personally rescued the young daughter of the Open Lord of Waterdeep Piergeiron "the Paladison. Though Piergeiron's wife Amandra Farmoor, was taken by the creatures and none could detect her whereabouts or even if she has survived.

Merpenoth of this year, there were signs of an occult meeting having occured in the City of the Dead, the Grey Watch was called in and even they are uncertain just what had happened. Kelben Blackstaff Older sent his son Kelban Blackstaff younger to investigate and nothing turned up. Just a sign of a ritual and there was nothing that the stone could tell the mages. It is believed some of the local bored noble children might be experimenting with things beyond their command.

Lareal Silverhand is currently the City Mage while her beau The Blackstaff is away with his son investigating a strange sighting over Waterdeep Bay and off the Inner Isles of the City.

Aother local mage of some repute Kyriani Agrivar found herself again split when she handled a magical artifact that was originally created by a mage who despised half elves and it was made to rid the human half from the elven half. Known as the Orb of Shallvadra it is mentioned that the Orb was created during the Crown Wars, when one of the wizard Shallvadra's children fell in love with a human and gave birth to a half elf, the deep hated of humans within Shallvadra's heart pushed the wizard to create this item.

Cybriana Agrivar and Kilili Agrivar was reborn.

It is believed that it was a plan of the goddess Lloth to gain a champion on the surface for reasons unknown to anyone else. What is known is that Kilili is favored by the Spider Queen and that fled into the night leaving her surface twin Cybriana in shock of being rid of her and a person of her own again.

Cybriana has since taken up her staff and sword and gone into the realms since her rebirth the young woman has had dark visions of things and wishes to put things into perspective. She can be found at Selune's Smile when she is in Waterdeep.

AT A GLANCE; One of the handful of  proper nations in the North, Cormyr straddles the land between the Dragonmere and Anauroch in the north east region of the Sea of Fallen Stars. It was at one time heavily wooded, but is now a region of small forests and organized
farms.

Much like Waterdeep Cormyr has seen its own failing in the past years King Azoun IV who was known to be noble and kind, has suffered some for of mental break and he has closed off the Forest Country to the elven people, to the commoners he constantly tests his people to prove their utter loyalty to him. Some say his daughter fled home and other rumors hold a deeper fear that she never left at all and may be a victim of her father's madness. Even his wife has fled his side to the aid of the local elves, of whom she possesses some elven blood herself. His Purple Dragons, once known for the honorable nature have now fallen to pettiness, thievery and fear tactics on the farmer folk.

The Elven Court, still holds strong, with such troubles in their homeland, they refuse to leave it to fall into the hands of demons and monsters. Slowly there is a campaign to take back Myth Drannor. The Ruler of the Elven Court King Elkanter Dawnstar has worked to help the local farmers, and has taken the King's Forest Back which has caused much constraint to King Azoun IV. The lands around the Suzail have begun to twist, and writhe and turn into something ghostly, haunted and terrible. It is believed by Dawnstar that the King has handled or been gifted some sort of a terrible artifact. The Sage of Shadowdale, has warned that the artifact that King Azoun has in his possession is an ancient elven artifact and was never meant to be handled by a human.

There are efforts underway to rescue the king and the land.

Anyone from this area is certainly not from the current Court, they might be a member of a noble family they cannot reach. Or more likely a part of the effective resistance. If elven they possibly come from the Elven Court.

Those who have connections here have dealt directly either with the former Queen Flllaertl Selazair who has transformed from a pampered elegant queen into a warrior woman more than the equal of her once husband. Her greatest desire is to rescue her daughter. Alusair Nacacia her Tanalasta Selazair her oldest daughter has also embraced her new life, having married Evandrith Dawnstar the oldest son of King Elkantar, it is said that it was a political move but the two seem happy. They are expecting a child in Hammer of next year.

Coronal Eltergrim Irithyl still rules a large section of Myth Drannor, and he and his people fight a constant battle against the demonic forces at his side the bladesinger Dewshine a ghost elven woman from a branch of elves that have long been hidden. Who often lead tactics against the demons in Myth Drannor. Her skill in combating demons, is second to only that of the Shougun Wan Qing Zhu who has aligned wth the elves.

Westgate has always been the underbelly of an underbelly of what who truly knows. It is one of the most sordid Cities in Faerun. It is also the home to the Largest black market.

Westgate, is a city of the dead and undead once it boasted many religions. The only living folk within Westgate are slaves and those sold in the Marketplace. It is vampire dominated, and controlled. It is ruled by King Ashtukzu the II. Who conducts himself like a proper Warlord he because a vampire in the year 36 DR and has reigned since. He is in possession of the Vampire Dagger. He owns a lot of territory and has a harem of beautiful woman, all living so that he may feed from a different source each night.

Ashtukzu has the power to kick people from his city. He was a excellent fighter in his time as a human and since his transformation he has become an even bigger threat, for some reason the sun does not bother Ashtukzu as some way ward vampire hunters discovered two years ago.

There is very little that goes on or goes out that he does not know of. There are no real contacts within Westgate that stand out because good men are hard to find and anyone caught spying or passing on secrets finds a quick end to a shortlife.

It is said that the Nightmasks rule behind the throne. It is also said that the God Mask, made a personal appearance, snatch the vampire blade from the air and making a point to the Mulan vampire king, that Westgate would have to be shared.

Westgate is one of two Cities in Faerun that openly worships Mask.
