You guys are always welcome to abandon the mission should you so choose! The sight of the body definitely implies "something" has gone. It would forfeit your pay obviously, but sometimes living is more important than money :)

That said, the Bwap was pretty clear that no other ships were detected entering orbit so it is unlikely the ship has "hostiles" on board. You guys also don't see any other ships docked with the Lab ship so the only personnel on board would be the crew and scientists assigned to the ship. This does not mean there are no threats, just that you guys weren't sent to board a ship suspected of coming under armed attack or anything like that.


EDIT: You may notice I am going to be starting a new character this weekend named Zhouth, they are a lurker who has been patiently waiting in the wings for well over a month (huge thanks to the player for their patience as I have been moving and getting this new job started). They will be starting solo so you guys won't have direct contact with them quite yet but maybe one day you guys will run into each other!

Hey everyone, I have started my new job but it is a lot more demanding than I thought it would be. This isn't a bad thing as I am being paid fairly for my time but they needed me to work late nights and several ten hour shifts the past few days. I was eager for the money so I accepted but because I haven't worked in almost a year, I have been a lot more exhausted than I thought I would be (my feet hate me haha). I really thought I would have a chance to post this weekend but work has just killed my energy.

I promise to get things rolling again here shortly I just haven't had the energy to post yet. I wanted to let everyone know what was going on and that I am not dropping the game or going to disappear I just need a little more time to get adjusted to my new schedule. I appreciate any understanding and patience and hope to be back to normal soon.

I know we've had several interruptions so I do apologize all of you have been great players so please just hold tight for me. Thank you!

Alright I have managed to catch up with rest and I've gotten into the flow of my new schedule so I will be getting updates done tonight! I'm going to start checking my PM's and writing up the in-game update. I have 3 games that need my attention so you guys probably won't see the update for a few hours but by Saturday we should be back into a full swing with things. I appreciate the patience everyone!

I wanted to let you guys know that my schedule has me off Monday-Tuesdays, and Fridays. I am still getting used to working again and having such long shifts so I do hope in the future I can be more active. You guys can expect an update from me either Monday or Tuesday, but likely won't hear from me again until the Friday after that.

Think this game stalled out because I was the only one to reply to the Ref's post on October 5th.  Normally I'd prod after a week for some participation but had a family emergency last week that chewed up my freetime and then some.  So consider this a friendly belated <poke>.  I think we have a solid bunch here and I really want to see how things can develop for this one;-).

Okay rmailed Ref that everyone has gotten a post up and no longer stalled.  Given his posted work scheduled I wouldn't expect a post until Friday or the start of next week if he wishes to continue.
