Name: Garolek
Class: Sorcerer

1. Born to a powerful warlord who never saw him as anything more than a weapon, Garolek left home at a young age--still a boy, really--and survived in the wasteland for some time before finding shelter with a secretive order of sorcerers who were opposed to using their magical arts to meddle in human affairs. Garolek stayed for some time, however he had always been plagued by visions of ruin and destruction, and set out on a quest to deduce the nature of these visions and try to prevent the doom they foretold. The order disagreed with his decision, but did not try to stop him from leaving.

2. Garolek is on a quest to find the cause of his visions. The visions strike at random, and can be incapacitating, reduced to clutching his head, and perhaps screaming. The visions depict the world ending in fire and blood--not a collapse, like what led to the Ruined Earth, but a true end. He seeks to determine the cause of these visions, and stop the doom that they predict, and will not rest until he has done so.

3. Do not subject others to servitude or bend them to your will. Growing up, Garolek saw his father beat and kill slaves and put villages to the torch.
