Hello and welcome, admin team!

This is where we will make out of character introductions, discuss character synergy, joke around, and talk about the group's charter.

Three characters already added to the team. Our first major decision on the charter is who you all decide to have as the Patron. Once I have five players I will put it to a vote. But feel free to lobby your fellow administrators for your choice.

I am hoping we can have our character sheets ironed out,, and have our first IC posts by the weekend.

Don't be shy and feel free to stop by and discuss your group's composition here before anything gets set in stone.

And we have our fourth! So far we have:

Two Shirrens (Envoy and Technomancer), a Raxilite (Mechanic), and an Elf (Precog). Yep this is definitely a Starfinder game. :D

I will keep on the look out for our next volunteer to be someone on the more martial side of things to round the party out nicely.

In reply to Patron of New Harmony (msg # 2):

Weydan (CG), the god of discovery, equality, exploration, and freedom, would be an excellent, if not predictable, choice.

I don't have a strict preference for patron choice but working for dragons is always fun.

I don't know if we need the same god.

The five Patron choices from the AP are listed in the How to Found a New Colony thread.

If however you all agreed that none of the offered choices piqued your interest, I might offer up a few homebrewed choices.

That said since all the patrons are only a role play choice as written I am going to sweeten the offers with some mechanics. Consider them "signing bonuses."



Starfinder Society - Starts with Infosphere access.

Abadar - A flat 10% discount on items below or at ilvl 5. Also will offer a flat 10% increase in selling price for goods sold to them.

Zenniledie Labs - Free wyrmling gland implants? I am up for other ideas for this one.

Xenowardens - Discounted animal companion training.

Veskarium - The colony starts with Defenses upgrade.

Hello, Fellow colonists! I will be paying Vinka, a Female Shirren Technomancer and gamer girl. Looking forward to playing with y'all!

As for patron, if we don't go for a homebrew one, I would choose Veskarium.

While I know the 10% will be a bigger bonus I am still inclined to agree that we ignore whatever Abadar offers, making Veskaeium the best choice.
