I created this thread as a place where you can chat with each other and me while everyone gets ready, and also as a place where I can update you on the status of preparations.

So as of this morning the game is live!  Got our first player two players as well.  I'm pretty much done with the prep work.  Just have to polish up my house rules and homebrew and get that thread up.  Also have to finish coloring and lettering my map of Mulcrow and get that posted.  I have a map of the starting town of Griffondale ready to post as well.  The keys and info for both maps are done and just need to be copied and pasted.  Only other thing is finishing up the last three demigods in the Pantheon thread and I'm done.

As you get added, shoot me a mssg with your class preference.  I have character sheets ready for warriors, rogues and casters that I can assign.

Player Two checking in!  Was just about to check out for the day but here we are.

Hi folks, I'm excited to be getting involved with a 2nd edition game after a lot of years.  I have several character ideas bouncing around in my head, I hope the rest of you are more capable of nailing down your own.

Greetings, same here.

I went ahead and rolled my stats to help me narrow things down.  Happy to say I'm down to two of my original options.  So I'll toss those out and see who everyone would rather work with.  (I'll quite literally throw a coin to decide if left to my own devices, so input is appreciated).


Human Cleric of Aerithel.  She'll focus on healing and support magic to help the team.

Elf Fighter/Thief.  She'll specialize in Longbows and Shortswords, and focus on ranged combat and being clever.

The two characters are dramatically different in concept and personality, so keep in mind you're helping me to pick who you'll spend a lot of time with.

Rupert, can we at least re-roll 1's, then the lowest number we can start with is a 6? Just wondering.

I did okay in any case, 17, 16, 11, 11, 10, 10. I'm good.

Wizard I'm thinking.

Can you open the sheets are as editable below character description?

I'll defer to your fellow players on this one.  Not my place to weigh in on this matter lol.  Truthfully, I could work with either.

Sorry guys, I should have been clearer.  I do have character sheets for you.  I'd prefer if you use them because they are very streamlined.  Once you pick a class I'll assigb them to you.  I will also edit the character creation thread so that it is clearer.  My bad.

Also, I am at work for a few more hours.  It is crazy here today, VP Harris is speaking across the street from my job this evening and things are chaotic here to say the least (lol).  I will get caught up on my messages after work.

Ahh, half done, now I have to start over! ;-) hehehehehe, okay. Send me the wizard sheet when you're done with work and get home. Thanks.

I'll see how the RNG treats me before deciding on a class or race.

Okay that looks pretty good for some kind of fighter, or whatever I want to make really, which should go well with a Cleric and a Mage.

Are we using Kits from the Complete [Blank] Handbooks?

One other question: Are elves in your world Tall Elves or Short Elves?
