Game Play and Characters

Hi all

Expectations:
For ease of play, I'll ask that all speech be in 'quotation marks' and that all internal thoughts or dialogue be in italics.

For OOC text, rolls or questions, please us the Lavender coloured text.

Other than that, I'll expect the usual courtesy to other players and myself, and a posting rate of 1-2 times per week, which is what I aim to keep at myself.

Characters:

This game is for everyone, but I will assume that players have at least a passing understanding of the Warhammer world, and the factions and peoples involved.

For characters, I'm happy with people using any of the books from 2E for inspiration; Kislevites, Bretonnians, be whoever you want. Just let me know if you use any of those books.

As the game is set in the immediate post-war period following the Storm of Chaos, social classes have become a little blurred, with rich and poor mixing alike, so don't worry about this initially. As the game continues it may become more of an issue, but we'll roleplay that out.

You'll start knowing each other, as your characters will have completed the initial starting adventure that brings us to the start of Paths of the Damned. You've recently arrived in Middenheim after escorting a group of refugees from the town of Untergard and thwarting the demonic vengeance of a local witch. Having bonded during this experience, you will begin by entering Middenheim and seeking out the temple of Sigmar to return a holy relic that was entrusted to you by the late Father Dietrich, who did not survivie the journey.

Dice Rolling:

There's a lot of hidden factors in WFRP and so if you're ever unsure of what you should or shouldn't consider, roll the d100 and let me do the rest. Similarly, if you get what you thought was a success and it turns out to be a fail due to those hidden factors, don't get cut up over it.

Disclaimer:

I'm Scottish, so I'll be using british spelling as a rule. I won't ask this of others though, and spelling isn't something to get hung up on, just expect me to say 'arse' instead of 'ass' and 'wee' instead of 'small'.
