Re: Work Issues

Yes, we've lost Brent Lockyer, Jason Swift, and Napoleon la Tour, the others never really had PCs.  A couple of people had expressed interest in playing but haven't followed through on it.  So I've trimmed some storylines, converted Napoleon to an NPC, and am carrying on with the adventure.  I don't fret over the way players drift in and out of PBeMs, it happens.

Re: Work Issues

As I had earlier alerted the GM, I have recently moved (both out of my apartment and out of the state) and my personal circumstances have changed considerably.  This has led to a change in my ability to access the internet and my ability to post on Rpol.  I hope to still be able to post 3-4 times a week but I just wanted to warn people that things may begin to slow down for me as I make adjustments during this time of transition.

Re: Work Issues

It is with much regret that I have been forced to the conclusion that I must withdraw from all my games on Rpol and leave Rpol for the immediate future.  My Real Life circumstanes and the transition period I am stuck in have forced me to realize that I will not be able to dedicate the time I used to spend on Rpol.  My ability to post and even my access to the internet has been severely impaired and I can no longer guarentee any sort of regular posting schedule.  It is possible that in 2-3 months things may change with my situation but that is still quite uncertain.  I am very sorry to leave this game and I have enjoyed roleplaying with all of you.  I hope you all continue to have fun and I wish everyone here all the best.

Hah!

Jack McCurdy:
Being from Arkansas, it was easy to tell a Texan... they always drew out everything they said to make themselves sound important, as if they had a bushel of knowledge and grit more than anyone else.  The Alamo spoiled them rotten.

Spoken like a true Arkie!

Are you really from there?  I graduated HS in Texarkana...

Yeah.  I live up the road a bit from there.  Arkadelphia.

McCurdy's from Hot Springs though. :P

Re: Hah!

I still have many fond memories of the area.  I'm living in South Carolina now, but I'd love to go back for a visit.  My parents lived for a time in Fayetteville.

Re: Hah!

I hope she hasn't fallen out of the boat :-).  She really makes a good foil for Brother Clary's black-and-white views on things.  I could see her well getting under his skin, even though his momma and daddy always taught him to be respectful of the ladies....

MIA

Just to let everyone know, I will be away from Thrusday through next Monday. If you don't see a post from me in that time, its because I'm on Vacation, and not Missing In Action.

I should be back on Tuesday.

Cheers!

Re: MIA

Yet again, I find myself away for a week.  I leave Sunday evening (Aug 21), and will not return until Aug 28 (The following Sunday).

Please feel free to move the good Brother along as necessary for the story.

Thanks!

Re: MIA

This is just to let everyone know that I will be deployed with The Salvation Army to assist with any issues regarding Hurrican Ophelia.  With any luck, she'll miss the US coast entirely, but just in case, I (and several others will be there!)

Sorry.

Re: MIA

It seems I will have to gently NPC Marianne and Brother Clary to finish out the story....if they don't check in by Jan 1, I'll recruit some more players.

Re: MIA

Sorry, I've been checking in, I just haven't seen where I need to speak up just yet.  Perhaps its a matter of me not really figuring out the verbal hints...

I'll try to do better.

Re: MIA

Ditto...

There's a big meeting coming up at work so I've been pretty busy, and since no immediate response was required, I kind of let things slide.

I'll do better now :)

Re: MIA

OK...Try, please, just to post something once a week so that I know you're still interested in playing.  I cannot post and post with no feedback, it takes too much time and energy.  I run four games.

Merry Christmas!

I will be away starting tomorrow on some much-needed vacation until at least Jan 4.  If I can, I will check in.  Otherwise, juts move Brother C. along as necessary.

Thanks!

Feedback Request

I'm not sure how well Brother C. is doing.  I would like a little feedback from the group to see if there is something that I'm not doing that I should be doing here.

I know I've played him a little close to the vest, but a lot of that is getting used to the posting and playing formats here.

So for now I guess I have two basic questions:

1.  Do you like how Brother C. is coming across?

2.  What would you like to see from me regarding this character?
