PT, does my 'walldancing' acrobatic skill increasing mean that my leg power is increasing too?

Re: OOC Thread II

I LIVVVEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually, we had a severe thunerstorm at y house, yes excuse the bad grammer as I a typing on a laptop, which has a keyboard that I can reach all the way across with my left hand stretched from pinky to thumb...so its hard to type on this.... >_>  Anyway, power got knocked out, and when it finally returned 5 hours later or so, the ports on the router we use for our...7 or 8 comps/laptops in the house got fried, along with the motherboard on one of the computers and a garage door opener...  soo we've had no internet for 3 freaking days.... life has been a pain indeed.  Anyway...  I still won't be able to post for a bit... >_> not like krillis has bothered to post for me anyway >_> <_< >_<.  So, yeah.  I live...>_>  off to post in the 7 or so other games I'm in..

PT, I totally understand that you're a very, very busy man and I was just reminding you that my thread exists.

I don't mean to bug you about this, just making sure you saw that it exists, because I didn't get a post today.  Agh, it's hard to make a friendly reminder sound like what it is, rather than badgering.

So, hehe, sorry if it sounds like badgering.

Re: OOC Thread II

Oak, I call upon your amazing analytical and searching skills!  Plus, you already know this I think...

What is a link that has the Multiverser Ref Rules book on it?  Not that I'd ever condone pirating in any way...

I don't have any access to such a book.  I did check all the local stores, and online at Wal-Mart.  They're out of stock, and most haven't heard of it.  I just want to be able to GM in this game better...

So, can anyone help me out, then?

It looks like Amazon is currently sold out -- that is where I got my copy.

I hear rumors that an electronic version may be in the works, but I don't think they are selling them yet.

You should go over to GamingOutpost.com, and ask MJ.  He should have the latest info.  :)

Moved by this empathetic response on the one hand, and aware that I have a copy of the MV Rulebook that poor Krillis lacks, I return the empathetic hug as the tears trickle down my branches and leaves like rain...  :(

Re: OOC Thread II

Wow, you're clever! *suddenly over not having rulebook*

Cool, cool, cool!!  Clever!!  You're an actual tree now...awesome!!

Hrm...PT, or Oak, or whoever might know, has anyone become a plant in MV?

It'd feel weird asking one of the top names in MV about how to get a rulebook, or talking to one of the top names in any way at all.  I'll just keep an eye out on ebay or something...

Oak, why do you have a copy?

Re: OOC Thread II

I'm sure that there are lots of PCs who become "plants" in the Spy World...  :p

I bought a copy about a year ago, since I was interested in learning more about the game.  It wasn't cheap, but I definitely think it was worth the money.  :)

For the first-hand account of the previously mentioned e-book rumors, you can check out http://www.gamingoutpost.com/b...ex.php?showentry=588  :D

Re: OOC Thread II

Liquid metal?  Cool.

I still like the character concept of "The Gardener".  Hrm...maybe Krillis should get into sports.

SPEAKING OF SPORTS!!  I'm totally into Tennis now, even though I'm entering my senior year of high school.  We have summer practices for it, and I have excellent sense (so I've been told).  There might be a chance, that even though I'm somewhat new, if I keep working like I am, that I'll be 4th at our school, right under the really good ones from the last years.

Does anyone else like tennis?

Re: OOC Thread II

I LOVE tennis.

Sadly I live in a northern Canadian community which has snow most of the year and there are no indoor tennis courts.

Oh..

And I suck at it.

Nah I've always been brutal at it.

But I just love all racquet sports, squash is awesome, table tennis I am quite good at, badminton I love and I am alright (though not stellar) at.

Re: OOC Thread II

I like tennis almost as much as I like soccer.

Which is pretty much the only competitive sports that I do like. Oh, I do like rock climbing, but you're only competing with yourself (and the god forsaken rocks) for that sport.

Re: OOC Thread II

I was doing the veteran verser with small group of newbies bit at Gaming Outpost, and then under my close tutelage one of the versers used Teleport to Hand, and botched badly....

Killed all of us, and eighty percent of the human population of the planet.

Oops.

That sucks PT.  Well, currently not sure what to do in my world...  >_>  Hmm...

Anyway... how does one leave the purple dinosaur world?  If no violent thoughts are allowed, what do they do? Do they eat, then jump in the water for a swim get a cramp and drown? Like seriously...
