Brattor's Thrall (Adventure Thread II)

Erdthar, Falk and Pello unleash a couple of devastating attacks upon the beast, nearly slashing him apart and flaming him up.

Feeling the devastating blow unleashed upon him the creature quickly realizes that this meal is simply not worth it. It turns and tries to make its way to the North West corridor, heading for the doorway into an adjacent room.

Falk immediately assesses the intended meal. If he's alive, Falk casts cure minor wounds on the... thing.

Re: Brattor's Thrall (Adventure Thread II)

Erdthar hacks into teh creature as it gets to the doorway in the north west section. The beast falls to the ground with a thud.

looking beyond into the next room: Dark filled with stone rubble strewn all about the floor, it apears that the north wall of this room has colapsed. It would seem that the Grick was making an escape into the rubble or that which must lay beyound.

I will get a map soon

Erdthar hacks into the fallen monster a few more times, just to make sure.  Then, he steps past the bleeding mess and looks over the room beyond.

Quindil glances around the room that Erdth enters but because of the dark, can't see much.  He goes back to where the combat was raging a moment ago to recover his discarded torch.

Re: Brattor's Thrall (Adventure Thread II)

Got a map, just not how i want it but oh well

Erdthar hacks into the fleeing beast and then steps into the room.

There are a large amount of barrels on racks in the center of this room. The ceilings are about 15' high and the barrel racks go to the ceiling. There is another door near the northwest and the northern wall has completely collapsed, revealing the tunnel beyond and some. As the earth that once set upon the stone walls has collapsed under its own weight.

I dont know why the creature is still on the map, but he is not really there, he is dead.

"Barrels and barrels and more barrels."  Erdthar looked over the room.  "Probably not full of monkeys though."

Peeking his head through the door, Pello disagrees "With this crazy dungeon I wouldn't be too sure, Erd."

Quindil goes over to the barrels and inspects them, looking for some sort of identifying marks, to perhaps discern the original source of them.

Re: Brattor's Thrall (Adventure Thread II)

Quindill looks closer at the barrels. They seem to have at one time been used to store liquid goods. Probably ale or wine.

They all seem to be empty except one. One of them when tapped on lightly with a fingure sounds as if it has something inside it still. The others seem hollow as if whatever was in there some how evaporated.

"One huh?" Erdthar looked at the offending barrel with a scowl.  "Gotta be something in there that will bite us in the ass."

"Maybe there's some full barrels in this room back here."
Quindil opens the door to the northwest and inspects the room.
