Re: One option

Sorry guys, I can’t update tonight. I got too much stuff to do. Winters coming and I have to batten down the hatches. We have already had snow, so I am already behind.

I thought a bout doing a real quick breeze thru update, but decided against it, I'd rather do it right, tomorrow.

Laters.

Re: One option

Vesp, what gives? You jinxed yourself. I have not hit you this entire combat, until you go say something like that.

Also if some has it handy, can you get me the stats for a badger. i am sure even a 3.5 badger would be fine ;)

thanx

Re: One option

I already sent the 3.0 badger in PM, along with the celestial template.

I probably should have told everyone though.

Milo, did you really want the badger to fight Vespian's friend?

Re: One option

By bringing the friendly (or at least nonaggressively neutral) spellcaster back into the fight by having your badger attack her.

In fact, with all the people attacking her, I'm amazed she didn't restart slinging spells at us 3 rounds ago.

Re: One option

Well I see it as two fold. Vespian just fell so she lost connection with the little goblin, she was holding it until now, the little goblin was coming anyway. Milo just gave her a target other than you guys to attack. She cant very well attack you guys with a raging badger at her feet.

Keep fighting, so far this is an awesome battle!

Have you guys ever seen an actual badger? They are mean little freeks.

Re: One option

Thats why i picked it out of the entire list it seemed the most vicious. It had that rage ability in 3.5. Does it have it in 3.0? I was thinking a distraction when I cast it.

Re: One option

it does have rage in 3.0, but it doesn't kick in until it's been wounded, and with 6 hp, the wound that kicks in the rage could well also kill it.

Yeah, I've seen a real badge, all flat-looking, but fast and viscious.  I also had to take my dad's German Shepard to the vet after he met the same badger.

Re: One option

So to really utilise a badger you need to also take Exotic Weapon Proficiency(shuriken). Give it one point of damage and watch it charge :p

Re: One option

Badger is cool,

I was hoping to kill off Kuraq and then convince the little Shaman Goblin to use her powers to waste the incoming reenforcements. Between Pello and myself, we probally could have kept her Suggested and Charmed for several adventures. After a few game weeks of actually being nice to her and sharing treasure, we might have had ourselves a real bonfida 1 edition style Henchman..,

Alas,
You all better treat my Fiendish Badger character with more respect.

At least Pello is cracking me up. I haven't seen anybody play out a spell exhausted spell thrower so well in at least 7 years or more. Usually they just say, "I'm done, its up to you all now." and then leave the combat area." Well done Pello!

Good deeds and justice? Are you sure you are talking about "The Crazy Sons of a Gnoll" and not some other random adventuring party? You know, one which isn't a moneygrubbing, demon-infiltrated, goblin eating bunch of social misfits?

Or maybe you are just talking about Renoart?

Lol, well that’s not totally the case.

G3 was the stick wielding fool. G2 is armored in plate, hence the ac of 19. G3 is dead and gone, Gim killed him with his sneak attack.

That is partly my fault; I suppose I could use different colored tiles for monsters with dif Ac's. But that might be kind of confusing in its own right.

And Vespian: stop whining :)
