Only when the screen is wide enough though.  If you're looking at a phone screen in vertical orientation, the following posts aren't shoved over, though they do miss the small gap that's supposed to go between posts.

Interestingly it's almost an imperceptible difference when viewing on mobile, at least on my mobile device, but desktop you can see the nesting issue quite clearly.

Try viewing in landscape on mobile.

I've confirmed the issue on Firefox, Chrome, Brave, and Edge.

I believe that it is the element

<div class="quote tal">

that is not being closed, and it is eating the close div of the element surrounding it.

That's the result of the bug, yes, but the bug itself is still a failure of the input validation.  Closing a quote tag on the same row as the last row of a pipe table shouldn't do that.  And indeed, if the quote attribution is not a link, I think it works correctly.

Edit: Oh, well, that's me told.  It's just ending a quote tag on the same row as the last row of a table.  The link as the attribution has nothing to do with it.

It appears that it does indeed go away on subsequent pages.  The "all" link still has the problem unsurprisingly.

Apparently the moderators don't like filler posts for testing purposes.  Fair enough, they deleted some of them, I deleted the rest, and that makes two lessons learned instead of just the one I was going for.

Doubtless, they would prefer testing of such things to be done in a not-public forum.  Filler posts are generally frowned upon in the public forums, although it's rare that they're done to test a coding solution (the norm...if you can call it that, since it rarely happens...is someone spamming the thread...)
