Not sure if this is the correct forum, but is there a reference somewhere that compares the different mapmaking programs (both free and pay)?

I use Inkarnate for my fantasy maps, but I'm looking for something for SciFi/Post Apocalyptic and it doesn't have easy to use options for those.

If you do a subject keyword search for 'map' in the community chat forum you'll get a number of discussions regarding maps and map making software which might have some of the info you're looking for.
