Thread page formatting incorrect

Hello,

Sometimes in the middle of the day on 12/28 the threads page lost its formatting.

So in the morning when i would post a new thread/reply to a thread the page looked very much like the default view.

In the middle of the day sometime... after 9 am central and before 3pm central roughly even though i did not change anything, now the formatting is no longer correct (things are overlapped, not centered, all the way left on the screen), the background is the purple color from the old site,

I saw this behavior on my phone on the 26th or 27, but it did not happen to my desktop until the 28th.

I am using chrome on desktop, the same behavior is found on edge.

Thread page formatting incorrect

Hi Xeriph,  I'm guessing that one of the tweaks to the CSS stylesheet didn't refresh on your desktop until that point on 28/12 when it caught up with the latest Responsive update on your phone.  I'd do a hard refresh (CTRL+F5 in most browsers) just to make sure you do have the latest patches.

In regard to the purple colour background  ... Custom Themes in the new interface have a LOT more entries compared to the old site, so it would have loaded what it could from your existing saved theme but any values that weren't present before will be blank.  To fix, just edit your custom theme and look for any labels coloured in red alongside an empty field and set a value.

Not sure what's causing the overlapping, but if the hard refresh doesn't help, I know some users have reported good results from setting page width to 2000 pixels.  Mine's on 1350 pixels and I'm not seeing any overlapping or other oddity (PC, Win 10, Firefox).
