I have a couple of questions about the Wiki  :)

Can I delete pages after I have created them?

Can I get a map / list of all the Wiki Pages?

I have got to a point where I really should start building a structure, rather than leave everything 'flat'.

Everything I learned about game wikis ... I pretty much got from:  link to a message in another game

Deletion is basically editing, clearing all text and saving the page, then just remove any links to it.  The blank page is still there, but can't be accessed.  (technically someone could guess the page name and navigate to it via the URL, but it'd still be blank).

I haven't come across any way to get a map/list.  :<   I keep a manual backup of my wiki pages (copied the text to a Word doc for safekeeping).


Hint: typing "-" in Who can edit? box when you create a page makes it GM-only and stops anyone from changing the contents.  And yes, you can go back and edit and put the "-" in after it's been created.

Next question -  can I rename pages?  Then I could back-engineer a pseudo structure.

I assume that we are talking about DB records, rather than an actually flat file wiki?  Is there a function that allows me to change the perceived name of a record, much like I can change the perceived name of a thread in an RPoL game?

The Netherworld Wiki page is getting quite big and, without a structure, I feel that I need to create long pages.  With no TOC or linking within a page, some pages are getting very unwieldy.  I guess, as always, I am doing more background design than most, and I am going beyond the expected use of the RPoL Wiki structure.

Rename consists of creating a new page with the name you want, then copying over the text from the old page ... and then deleting the content from the old page. :P
