Astrogation, Crime, Repair
Propulsion:
S4M-P1 hovers on a pair of repulsorlifts. He is capable of a maximum height of 2 meters.
Background
S4M-P1 was custom built by Tyber Starfinder, a rebel engineer and pilot. Using a salvaged JN-66 Analysis droid for the frame and most of the brain along with parts salvaged from an R1 Astromech droid and other bits and pieces, Tyber built S4M-P1 to blend the functions of a Class One and Class Two droid.
S4M-P1 fondly remembers working alongside Tyber reprogramming and repairing snub fighters and freighters. He handled astrogation for Tyber's Y-Wing during the few missions they went on. When Tyber was killed in action on Hoth, S4M-P1 teamed up with Soru Rea, a twi'lek slicer.
Together Soru and S4M helped the Rebellion and themselves by infiltrating Imperial computer systems. While they worked well together, they never formed the close friendship S4M-P1 enjoyed with Tyber. After the destruction of the second Death Star, Soru manumitted S4M-P1 and vanished into the shadowy world of criminal slicing.
Now a free droid, S4M-P1 quickly discovered that not all organics are accepting of his freedom. He has allied himself with the droid rights movement and is likely to risk himself to protect a friendly droid. Even when directly opposing another droid, he tries to find a peaceful solution.
