Abigail Roades
Abigail Bryce Roades is in her mid-30s, but has the enthusiasm and energy of a younger person. She is attractive, dresses sensibly, particularly when she is "in the fireld" with her husband, Henry, an archaeologist. She is of a practical turn of mind and well-educated, competent to organize the many details of an extended sojourn away from the comforts and conveniences of the city.
Abigail also assists her husband with his scholarly work, organizing research notes, typing and editing manuscripts, and offering her own insights. Henry often refers to her, affectionately, as his good right leg.
She is a native of Arkham and obtained a bachelors degree in French Literature from Miskatonic University. She married Henry Roades in 1918. They have no children.
