F3L1X
Name: F3L1X (aka Felix)
Age: online 11 years
Gender: male (by default, since you couldnt really call him it, and people dont think of him as a she)
Physical Appearance:
Roughly human-sized, Felix body consists of a thorax with a head and two arms, mounted atop a chassis with caterpillar treads. Each arm boasts multiple tool appendages folded back around a hand with four digits, any of which can act as an opposable thumb. His face is little more than a set of optical lenses and a speaker grille.
Personality:
The words that might best describe Felix are user friendly. He enjoys working with humans, and wants to demonstrate his usefulness to them. Children especially seem to find him endearing, a sentiment he returns.
Brief Character Background:
Felix has been kept in storage, in shutdown/standby mode, until it was deemed that he might be employed in some capacity that was too hazardous for a human.
Motivations:
More than anything else, Felix wants to be useful to his human associates. To the robotic mind, there is no value in existing without a clearly defined purpose, and his purpose is to help humans in any way he can.
Obsolescence, for a robot, is much like forced retirement for a human. It is end of usefulness, which, to Felix, means the end of significance. So it is something to be avoided if at all possible, in his estimation.
Augmentations:
Computer interface
Rotary power tool head with various attachments (drill/screwdriver/impact wrench/saw/grinder)
Laser (cutting/welding within 3 meters, measuring/signaling to 1500 meters)
Eidetic memory with audio/video playback
Mass: 300 kg [660 lbs.]
Top speed (road): 56 kph [35 mph]
