Liz was a heavyset black woman who'd used to work for the DCRM. She'd gotten addicted to pain pills after a car accident, and unceremoniously canned when it came to light. Though she'd gotten clean, no hospital in Drake city would hire here, and she'd had no support group to fall back on, which had lead here here. She still did work, but it was far below her skills -- her injury prevented her from doing heavy labor, so she was forced to wash dishes at a local diner. They were a struggling mom & pop, and couldn't afford to schedule her full time, so she was often available to look over the others in the camp.
