Gwydion is young by elven standards, having lived for only 92 winters. He is short and slim, but wears an elven chain hauberk with ease. He carries a spear for a weapon, with feather tassels just below the head.

Despite the reputation of elves as being "the beautiful people," Gwydion has fairly plain features, and a rugged look that comes from hard living in the wilds, rather than the refined features of an elder race blessed by the Immortals.

He tends to be a bit curt in his speech, and while he's not a great scholar, he does have a clever head on his shoulder. He tends to be a bit impetuous, and doesn't always consider the risks of his actions.
