Terriance of Kabesh probably isn't from the ruins of Kabesh, how could he be? He is one of the desert nomads known as the Southern Swordsman, although most people cannot tell one group from another and call them all only Horse barbarians. He is wearing leather armor over quilted robes and carries a round shield, curved sword and recurve bow common to those peoples, ornate, but not expensively so, being of common materials bearing the work of countless hours of stitching and lacquering available to those that live in the desert with long nights spent in tents. The clothing is adaptable, well suited to hot or cold.
His horse is a smaller, more agile breed than those common in Arion, and the ornate saddle is shorter with the pommel and cantle raised higher than common.
He is clearly a warrior sort, used to the feel of a sword in his . What he is doing in Arion is anyone's guess.
