Zarek is as bold as they come, some would say at times too bold. He has a caring nature and is very protective of his friends. He is tall and handsome, and always has a smile on his face. He grew up in Waterdeep to a family of modest means. His early years were marked by the harsh realities of urban life, losing his mother to a sickness that no cleric could heal. So, he grew up in the streets running around with some other kids his age. He got into his fair share of trouble but nothing major. He was always a curious kid, which helped with his sense of adventure.

As he grew older he became very skilled at combat. He learned to use the rage inside of him, and learned to use it in a controlled manor. When he was younger, his rage got some people he cared about hurt. So he found a mentor at the local Abbey that taught him how to control it. And he even taught him how to brawl and use techniques only when he needed to. Through this extensive training, he became tougher and was able to endure a lot more. His training helped him to be able to hold his ground against multiple people if need be. And in these situations, always looked for opportunities to exploit opponents, especially if they were trying to run away.

Most days you can find him at the local taverns, as a bouncer for hire or protection if needed. He looks for odd jobs here and there from time to time but is looking to get out of the city and explore the world. He can be seen running around with his friend Ruby, who is like a sister to him. She has saved his ass on more than one occasion and has helped her as well.
