Hala grew up in Shadowdale, she was the daughter of prominent Halfling merchants when their daughter fell in love with Shadowdale and the woods and wilds her parents entrusted her in the care of her mentor the elderly Autumnmoon. Autumnmoon being the Hirophant of the glade. She encouraged Hala in her studies as both a sorceress as the magic ran deep in her veins, the fact the girl had fey-nature and of course because she saw all the untapped potential in the girl. Hala, being in a village of humans and few other halflings. Her best friend is Tara, of Mother Tara's. The two still get together for a girls night once a month to just sit back talk about the good ol' days and have a pint.

Hala is passionate about nature , plants, animals and she adores children. Her own are a mix of human and halfling all fey-touched due to her own blood. Hala has also adopted her fair share of the children in the Village. The farm is big enough for the pitter patter of little feet, and bigger feet. Hala's delight is seeing those she brought up, return with their children since she and Frush are at the age where they could be grand or great grandparents.

For Hala though age hasn't touched her. She has been blessed by Chauntea.

Hala and Frush have all but adopted Jin Rui An as he showed up to the farm when he was younger and sort of kept coming back. When the group wasn't off adventuring.
