Silvermasque

The mercenary known as Silvermasque is a truly intimidating sight for even the most hardened of warriors, though it's plain from his ever-alert posture and carriage that this hasn't ever prevented people from shooting at him anyway. The first glance suggests a D-Bee or genetically altered animal of truly epic proportions, as though someone had taken a silver-white Siberian Tiger well over ten feet in length, with shoulders at least a full six feet across and taught it to walk upon its hind legs, then granted it the kind of deadly, feral intelligence of a man. His eyes are a mystery - quite literally so in fact, with a seemingly cybernetic wraparound visor of some sort encircling his head completely, granting him what has to be close to three hundred sixty degree vision. Habitually he wears old-fashioned battle dress cut to his titanic scale, the dark DPM fabric draped over muscles that seem fully capable of tipping over a tank (maybe just a little one) but for the duration of the war he's settled on heavy plate armour cut in cyborg fashion, though his sheer physical power handles the massive weight of ceramic and metal as effortlessly as the bulk of the heaviest personal weapons - hence his choice of a pair of Wellington Arms grenade launchers slung back over his shoulders just where they're convenient for two silvery-clawed, three-fingered hands to reach up and swing them into use whenever he feels that those long and deadly appendages will not be sufficient for the tasks at hand, steadied by a second set of cleverly manipulative arms and hands which emerge from his jacket below the first. He's also somewhat notable for having what appears to be a quartet of RPA-sized falchion-like vibroswords slung with his gear, presumably with the intention of using them at some point, no doubt with extreme prejudice.

He's known to be a good man... thing to have at ones side in a fight, capable of wielding most of the heavy technological weapons on either side of the battle-lines and of driving pretty much any ground vehicle that can hold his huge form or handle his considerable mass. In motion he's almost spookily noiseless for a creature of his size, allowing him to use his superior senses as an excellent forward scout, whilst when discovered he demonstrates a turn of speed matched only by the most extensively rebuilt full-conversion borgs. Of course, this only leaves the question of where he picked up the habit of smoking very large hand-rolled cigars and how he can be persuaded to stop it.

Silvermasque is a classic mercenary - well, classic if one can get over his truly alarming appearance. The furry behemoth is reputably well-skilled with a range of heavy weapons, as well as having something of a knack for demolitions. Somewhere he's picked up some excellent training in military field operations and intelligence gathering, and his physical abilities need to be seen to be believed, regularly demonstrating the kind of endurance that only a full-conversion borg can match, with the sort of raw strength that puts him on a par with some smaller war machines.
About as magically active as a half-brick and possessed of a terrifying capacity for the most toxic alcoholic beverages imaginable even with his bio-filters disengaged, the towering tiger has been spotted around the battlefields and adventurer magnets of North America for some years now, and it seems that luck has brought him (and a golf-caddy of NG & Wellington firearms) to the Tolkeen front.
Following his first bout of operations with Pluto Company it's become apparent that the big 'D-Bee in fact is a full-conversion Cyborg, his mechanical nature concealed by Psi-EM dampening systems that prevented anyone from becoming aware of this until after a storm of heavy energy weapon fire shredded parts of his cosmetic coverings.
Further, he is in fact something called a Cyborg Shocktrooper, apparently an order of weapon and man analagous to down and dirty Cyber-knights or Glitter Boys developed by the Warlords of the far-off and semi-mythical Russias, come to the battlefields of North America by a circuitous and improbable route that he's still not fully explained, losing augmentations and gaining them along the way.
