Stephen is the bastard son of Don Levy "the Young", the official "ruler" of Trail's End. Remo knew of the child's mother, a high class "lady" and hid the child when he was born. Somehow, the secret leaked and now Captain Bache is on the look-out for the kid, who can change many things if it were known he lived. Stephen is 7 years old and quite shy. But that's to be expected from being hid in so many places in such a short time. He doesn't know what's going to happen with his life, but the pretty lady giving him cookies seems pretty nice...
