Baldric Freiger is the lost son of Grisham Freiger; owner of the Red Dog Inn back in Smallville. Getting into trouble back in town, it was Baldric's fault that his parents had to start over in the middle of nowhere. Once the small town was established, Baldric went into the woods to explore and eventually found the old cemetary. Thinking that nobody would miss a couple treasures from the old place, Baldric never expected that there would be something else living there as he explored the temple. He was ambushed by a group of undead and killed...His last moments were of his family and why the gods did this to him.

About a year later, now a full Undead Ghoul, he had to obey his masters wishes and attack the local farm houses. He never expected there would be resistance there, let alone be freed from the domination of the master ghoul. Begging for his life, Baldric ran away from the 1/2 Ogre Feff and into the woods. Floods of memories were coming back to him and he took it as a sign from the gods that his punishment was over. He had his life back, but he wanted to be alive again, not some rotting corpse. He hopes that the Mercenaries he is following will be able to help him with his condition.
