Taia is an attractive blood elf with dark auburn, almost brown hair and equally dark green eyes. Her skin is exceptionally pale, a contrast to the tiny drops of crimson blood that constantly drip from the thorns protruding from her flesh. Those thorns, small and wickedly sharp, serve as protection from Horrors that would otherwise feed on fear or pain.

Knowing that she is so-protected against the greatest dangers posed by the Horrors, her face is often set in a superior, even disdainful sneer when dealing with other races. Only the presence of one of the Unprotected causes this look of superiority to be replaced - typically by sadness. After all, her own kin were too proud to recognize the wisdom of their Queen.

Typically Taia wears a finely-crafted, deep brown fernweave cloak with a hood. It is cut in sharp lines. A silver arrow-shaped pin is set at her throat, a symbol of both her place on the Draesis ti'Morel and her Discipline. The color of her cloak has the added benefit of not showing the blood that leaks from her body constantly.
