Deep through the shoulders and chest, the tattoo on his forearm proclaims him to have been a 'Red Flag,' one of the better gladiators to have ever fought in the Ermfu Arena.  The Black Sun of Meros, on the opposite forearm, shows him to be sworn to Meros.  He wears the half-armor of a gladiator still, though his fighting days are clearly long behind him.  His eyes are bright and clear, though his voice is rough and his speech is coarse.  He wears long fighting knives strapped across his lower back.
