Before you sits a Halfling, mounted solidly on the back of a dog.  His hair is black and, well, rather unkempt.  It ends well above his large, brown eyes, so deep that prolonged eye contact leaves you feeling like you are looking into a serene reflecting pool.  Prolonged eye contact would probably also reveal this is because there is very little behind those eyes, the serenity you are seeing plastered there almost permanently.

You can see the glint of chain armor through his well made shirt, his clothing obviously suited for travel.  The handle of a morningstar sticks up over one sholder, while the other sprouts a similar device, but with holes instead of spike.  A pair of small axes are strapped together on his belt, while a quiver sits alone on his other hip.
