Shane is not a solider... just a survivor.  He went to trade school to get into IT Field but was not your typical techie... in his spare time he took Karate lessons and trained in Kenjustu.  Friends of his were camping enthusiasts and regularly invited him on their monthly weekend camping trips.  This was his exposure to guns and survival craft.

As the news of foreign turmoil grew he was eventually convinced by his friends that he'd best start thinking of protecting himself with the growing unrest in the States and food riots and political protests in one city after another even in the states.  Shane purchased his first sidearms, a Glock 17, and a beautiful Rugar GP100 357 Magnum Stainless Revolver 6".  He'd never expected to use them or need them... but it was best to be ready to protect himself in an emergency. But life got more and more scary, with all the foreign news.  Eventually he purchased a katana and reluctantly his first longarm a H&K 91.

Shane tried to just do his job as a Cable Installer Technician.  Then France launched nukes and everything changed.  Everyone became scared of real world-wide nuclear exchanges cascades.

Shane quit his job and joined his friends in their forest log cabin retreat in the wilds of southern Indiana embracing the Survivalist lifestyle.  Was gifted his bow by one of his friends an Ameyxgs 30 - 70 lbs Compound Arch Adjustable Left Hand Hunting Bow.

He'd hoped things would settle down and they all could get back to normal life...

Then the things got EVER worse when the Russians{?} nuked the states, not that it really mattered who did it everything was laid waste his life among the ruins as well.

Shane has been fighting ever since just to survive and somedays... try to make the world a better place by helping out.
