Christopher Little Hawk MacDonald

Chris was born in the city of Lilloet in 1975. He belongs to the Lil'wat First Nation/Mt. Curry Indian Band ("Tribe" in American parlance) and is of aboriginal descent. His family (mother, father, brother) owned a farm and store on reserve land. Chris spent a lot of time in the forest hunting and fishing while working in his family store.

His favoured off-duty "going out" dress is cowboy hat, blue jeans and boots, and he likes C&W music and (pardoxically) hip-hop and rap. His most important possession before the war was his Ford Ranger pickup.

After graduating high school he continued working in the store and on the farm, saving money to go to UNBC (University of Northen BC in Kamloops). When war broke out he joined the newly-expanded Rocky Mountain Rangers and was placed in a recce platoon and also trained as a combat medic.

Chris's brother Chad also joined the army and is reported as missing-in-action in Europe. His father and mother disappeared in 1999, his father being suspected by the KGB of leading an anti-Soviet partisan  group in occupied Lilloet. Chris feels quite bitter against the Soviets because of this, although doesn't strictly hold it against deserters or Russian defectors (some of whom have joined the DRI). His truck was commandeered by the Russians for transport purposes.

After the Soviet invasion was beat back, he stayed in the army, having nothing left to come home to. He voluntarily transferred to Vancouver Island to join the Dept. of Reconnaissance and Investigation that the Premier pro tem was organizing there. After weeks of travel from Kamloops to Squamish via Lilooet, he crossed the Strait of Georgia in a kayak and continued down the coast to Duncan.

His native band is part of the Salish-speaking first nations, although like most young natives Chris doesn't speak the tribal language beyond what he learned in school. He's also lapsed Catholic and a member of the Wolf clan. Although very proud of his native heritage he doesn't mind making the odd jokes at his own expense.

He's 26 years old, 5'7 and 180 lbs, short black hair, clean-shaven. He's something of a ladies man and has (or tries to have) several girlfriends or other partners on the go. He sometimes drinks a lot when partying but he never gets out of control. He has a "Wolf-Sun" tattoo on his forearm and a large circular double Orcas tattoo across his back. He's a smoker, and although tobacco is hard to come by it is available.

Chris is armed with an FN (C1A1) and Hi-Power. As "special equipment" he has a pair of AN/PVS-5 NVGs and high-quality binoculars. His skill set is reconnaissance and combat medic, with hunting, fishing and small boat handling thrown in.

He has a Kevlar helmet and vest. He is dressed in OD Green combats, with 1982-pattern combat webbing (knife, flashlight, holster with 2 spare Hi-Power magazines, 1st Aid kit, ammo pouches with 4 spare FN magazines (2 more spares are in fatigue pockets) and 4 C13 fragmentation grenades, 2 HC Smoke canisters (Orange/Red), 1 days rations in web belt + 2 in butt pack, 2 canteens, Motorola walkie-talkie), gas mask in webbing pouch, spare set of summer fatigues, sleeping bag, poncho/shelter-half, spotting scope, 180 loose rounds of 7.62mm, 2x M72 LAWs, tobacco pouch.
