A tall and solidly built man in his late 50's, Magister Schreier takes pride in his appearance. He shaves clean every morning and one of his apprentices lays out a clean set of clothes each morning.

He has an old wound to his leg and walks with a cane. A signet of his house is worn on his left hand, and while he abandoned that long ago, it is a reminder of a life not lived.
