Kargen, sometimes called Short Beard because his beard has been cut short crudely at chin level. The dwarf stands about one and a half meters tall. The tough young dwarf made a name for himself as a freelance thug for hire and despite being able to talk "fancy talk" with any priest or noble he chooses not to bother. Everybody who could pay his price could hire the cold soul of Kargen. Kargen was one of Rikkerts favorites. Rikkert turned out to be a follower of Khaine and had to die. Kargan has served as Jannes' right hand ever since.

KD is known to be gruff and aggressive at times, although very straightforward and loyal to the Captain. He exhibits the traits of the criminal surroundings he spent years emersed in and has become egotistical, brutal and has gained an appreciation of the effect violence has as a method of furthering his aims.

Dressed in the battered full plate armor of a chaos dwarf and a short cut dragonscale cloak of druchii design, the dwarven champion is festoned with pistols, axes, shield and even a vicious looking two-handed axe slung over his back, Kargen is a fearsome sight.
