Angelique grew up in a normal neighbourhood, with a normal family, until her father died when she was 7. He was always on "business" and it was not until her 15th birthday that she realised that her surname was more than just coincidence. A letter came in the mail, signed by her father, with a map, and leading her to an underground chamber.. once she arrived there, her whole world changed.

Inside she met an man, one she recognised as one of her fathers best friends, dropping out of school she spent the next 2 years learning different skill sets, becoming an image of altheticism, able to run at great speeds, wield weapons of all varieties. She has access to an arsenal of books, potions, blades, guns, bows, training equipment. Though, it had been 5 years since she had lived a normal life, 5 years since she saw murder as something simple that one human did to another, now each event was analysed, investigated, and if needed.. taken care of.

She was lean, toned almost to a fault, her long blonde hair often pulled back into braids. She wore practical clothing that could also be seen as dominatrix, tight leather clothing to avoid getting caught on bushes or scratching her skin on various things. Not to mention as an extra layer of skin for blades, teeth, claws.. whatever it is that she comes across in her daily life. When she isnt wearing leather she wears short skirts, or tight jeans with equally tight tops. Practicality rules all.

Learning a long time ago that relationships dont work with her business, she has given up on finding love, or even friendship. Everyone either betrays her, or gets killed, so her life has been spent with one night stands with randoms, never spending the whole night. Even then, it had been months since she last shared herself with anyone.. . very few people even knew her name, let alone that she was a Van Helsing, well, except the underworld, she was infamous with the creatures of the darker side of nature.
