Will Coxley married young when his girlfriend got pregnant while he was still in law school. The baby made it difficult to juggle the intense workload of study as well as holding down a job to help provide for his wife and son, but he managed, and eventually became an attorney. He and Jane managed to stay together for about ten years, before the stresses of their early marriage began to show, and they divorced. Now, their son John spends alternate fortnights with his mother and father, while attending college himself.

Will is now 42, a dapper and well-presented veteran of the court. His handsome face has a bright, ready smile that highlights his crow's feet and other lines that show experience and maturity, and his steel-grey eyes are warm and knowing. A cleft chin and broad brow give him a classically good-looking and masculine appearance. He retains all his hair, though it's going grey and only retains a little of its original golden shine. At 6'1” tall, he has a firm, fit body with lean, well-defined muscle tone.
