Apex is an enigmatic supervillain who has been operating behind the scenes for a few years now - but is equally at home facing so-called 'superheroes' one on one. He cuts a tall, shadowy figure in his sleek black armoured suit and long coat. Apex uses his electromagnetic powers to unleash bolts of energy through the conductive fingertips of his gloves, and to power the strength-augmenting circuits in his armour that turn electricity into kinetic force. He can repel himself off the Earth's magnetic field to fly, and can even target neural signals to stun, confuse or 'brainwash' his enemies. In addition, he is a skilled martial artist and inventor, and always has a device or two as backup.
