Mary-Ann Gordon

Her parents were not the religious type that his her from the world for fear of sin, they didn't even mean to hide her. When she was 2, her father inherited a block of land, it was huge, out in the middle of nowhere and had cattle and crops. The closest neighbours were a half hour drive away, the town was a 3 hour drive away, even the postman didn't come this far. Over the years she saw helpers come and go, her father never really keeping her away from them, never introducing her either. Home-schooling was the only option, Internet was never an option and TV, well, there was no reception.

Of course, they also didn't tell her the way of the world. They were out of touch, forgetting that their sweet, beautiful girl would trust the darkest of souls without a moments hesitation. She had never been lied to, never been exposed to the real world, never been to a big city.. Never watched TV, read a magazine, never been exposed to compliments, catcalling, negative body image... She just was who she was. She loved flowers and books, she adored nature and the sound of rain on the roof. Barely 18, she wanted to study nursing, the local town didn't have many doctors or nurses, she wanted to help. Of course her parents supported her, gave her money, even helped her find a college in a smaller town because rent would be cheaper. They still didn't warn her.

She had helped on the farm, but normally just collecting eggs, feeding the chooks and the horses.. The rest her Dad did. Her petite frame was not toned, it didn't scream fitness buff, but she did have natural toning under the curves. Blue, innocent eyes were what gave her away the most, the curves of her body hidden under clothing that was comfortable not sexy, loose jeans, a comfortable top, a loose button up shirt, her smile could brighten a room, if only they saw her body underneath. http://vignette4.wikia.nocookie.net/divergent/images/e/e6/Emily_browning.png/revision/latest?cb=20120405021641
