"Elaas Skyseer towered nearly twice her height, a twilight-skinned, chiselled male figure, his multitude of thin braids woven with turquoise and alabaster beads and gathered in a bunch atop his head to keep it from hanging down to his waist. His eyes widened with wonder as he saw her as much as hers did when they first laid upon him, and he knelt before her to not-quite equalise their height, smiling as he introduced himself. His voice was soft but boomed like an echo in a cavern, his skin cool and rough like worked stone as he cupped her cheek in his palm with a  hand so huge it easily cradled her whole head."
