Monica Amanda D'Angelo is the daughter of Michele (Micky to friends and foes) D'Angelo, part-time mobster and full-time jerk. D'Angelo used to spend a lot of time together (both in and out of jail) with Jane's father, which is how the two girls first met. Like Jane, Monica is suffering for her father's mistakes: she could not get into a good school or find a good job because of her father's reputation. Eventually, her uncle (on her mother's side) entrusted her with the job at the pawn shop, to which the previous caretaker had given a very bad reputation that she is still trying to clean.

Not an easy task, for Micky d'Angelo's daughter: many petty criminals like to think of her as "Little Micky", despite the fact she never took any part in her father's "jobs", and they just can't wrap their heads around the fact that she is not and will not be involved in illegal activities.

Despite that, she proved to be quite adept at her new job, to the point that the shop could finally afford to hire some help. Looking for a person she could trust, she picked up the phone and called Jane; the rest, as the say...
