A native of London, Jacob first visited Arkham six years ago on the advice of a friend at Miskatonic University. He has been there since: Arkham is a treasure trove of the rare and unusual books and, interestingly, St. Mary's Hospital has quite a few patients in the psychiatric ward.

However, this year there are more psychiatry patients than usual and Jacob isn't quite sure why.

In the intervening days, a growing fear has gnawed at him, whispering that these patients are connected to something more diabolic. Jacob is superstitious and has read many occult books. He suspects that there is something else out there, and knows all too well that he must get to the bottom of it soon.
