Description and Personality: Six feet tall, pale and slim with long raven hair. Jan Harlow could make himself out to be a powerful fellow if not for the fact that he took to much care for his looks and his strange mannerisms; he also periodically appears very sickly, with too pale skin, darkened lips, and dark circles around his eyes. Typically dressed in dark red clothes of slight foreign make, he cuts a odd figure in the northern portion of the Inner Sea. In the southern portions, there would be no doubt many that would call him effeminate. There is also a strange element in his movements, like there is something just underneath his skin.

Hedonistic and flighty barely covers the usual manner in which Jan typically acts from day to day. To calling him a layabout vagrant or a unseemly character would just be as true as a polite potion seller or nice young man. Jan is a man that knows how he wants to live and is content with whatever plans he has. He is also very playful, even in terms of his much private past. One moment telling all that he is the adopt son of a baker that married a wizard to the next where he is the vanquished heir of some no name aristocratic family. Even though Jan has a chaotic and apolitical/amoral character, he has a strong personal loyalty to those that earn his trust. However that does not stop him from involving himself with strangers as a flight of fancy or ignoring them outright.
