Dejah is a little tall for an imperial, standing at 5'10. His skin tone is a middle yellow-brown color, his eyes a dark, stormy brown. His hair is black and mid-length, and a little unruly; typically Dejah is clean shaven, though after a few days can get a hearty stubble growing. His body is well toned, with a few scars standing out in a stark contrast on his body. On his left wrist and forearm is an extensive series of ring-shaped scars around his wrist.

Personality:
For the most part, Dejah is a laid-back man with a light, jovial approach to life. He enjoys simple things, and usually gets along with others. He has had a severe drinking problem in the past, and tries to avoid situations where he's encouraged to drink. Dejah tends to lack self-confidence and is quick to berate himself, though he tries to encourage others and help them improve themselves.
Background:
Dejah comes from the neighboring town of Dalegreen, a small town a few weeks away from Critter City. He was trained in martial arts, particularly with using swords. However, some incident caused him to leave town, and their marks still persist on his body. He made his way to Critter City and began a new life, adopting Ming the frog hybrid and attempting to train her for the tournaments.
The NuGen Incident changed all that. During the chaos, he lost track of Ming. She was lost, and even afterward he couldn't find her. He searched the city for her, but to no avail. This led Dejah to depression, and he turned to drinking. He developed an alcohol problem, which caused a lot of trouble for him. Through the assistance of some of his coworkers, Dejah managed to get through the worst of it and recovered. He spent the last few years working, and hoping Ming would return. Ming did eventually returned, but she was a changed and troubled hybrid. They tried to return to their normal lives, but circumstances had changed. She eventually left again, seeking help from another to try and control her anger, and Dejah was left behind. He has been coping with her second departure, seeking to recover and to continue on with his life.
