Dark hair and grey eyes characterize the solemn Laelia, High Priestess of the Unconquered Sun and the Handmaiden Vesperna, patron goddess of Anthegenia. She is among the eldest of the Anthegenian Celestials, yet also one of the most humble.

Laelia is rarely seen by the populace or even the Academy students and faculty, as it falls to her to maintain the prayer barriers of the city. This responsibility keeps her preoccupied at all hours of the day, either in prayer herself, or leading her acolytes and priestesses in the same.

It is said she has never slept since taking on the role of tending to Anthegenia's Shield. Because of that duty she has never left the city, and has forbidden herself romantic love.
