Professor Ilan Orren is a subsitute, but he's hoping for a permanent position on the staff. He loves the school and the students.

A very tall teacher, with tinges of green in his pale skin that might at one point have gotten him mistaken as a dragon-blooded. His hair is long as well, and his eyes are large as if he sees more than the average person. He wears voluminous clothes and his hands can often be seen together as if in prayer. He is a very serious professor who is concerned about the welfare of his students. He will not tolerate students making light of the skills he teaches them.
