Garyn looks young to be a Captain of the Guard, his handsome and youthful appearance owing to his mixed human and Elven heritage.  His hair is fine and shoulder length though his features are sharp.

He wears fine armor adorned with the standard of the Principality of Grand Treal.  Garyn wears a longsword at his hip and carries a shield, but it is the magickal energy that he can unleash through his sword that gives him his stalwart reputation.  Garyn also wears an amulet of Heironeous about his neck.
