Description:
While Alexis is an elf to be sure, she looks different from the traditional elf. Her ears are longer, her hair is orange (red) and wavy, she has freckles and is thick rather than slender. Her eyes are round unlike normal elves. Her thickness is enough to suggest she never entirely got rid of her baby fat, but not enough to make her look overweight. Alexis has an athletic build, but her muscle tone is mostly hidden by the slight pudge. Alexis has green eyes and usually has an aura of matter-of-fact confidence.

Personality:
Alexis loves hating evil. She has little patience or self-control when it comes to people doing wrong by her or her friends. Alexis is a little on the gruff side towards her friends too, easily angered or easily pulled into arguments. Between her pride telling her she's always right and her haste telling not to wait, Alexis wouldn't seem like a likely candidate for a ruler, yet that is what nature chose. Alexis has a strong redeeming quality, though. Her stubbornness causes her to be unwavering and ever true. Alexis would never abandon her ideals and will hold them with her vice grip to her dying breath.

Alexis has respect for people who have a spine, but will not respect them enough to admit they are right if they contradict her. Humility humbles her, however. When Alexis is met with someone humbling themselves before her, it embarrasses her and makes her feel unworthy.

Quite frequently, Alexis meditates in hopes of some day conquering her fiery anger. In the meantime, she just hopes her friends are understanding when or if she says things she regrets. Though to her credit, she is not guilty of saying things she didn't mean. Alexis believes strongly in saying what you mean and meaning what you say. Consequently, between that and her lack of anything resembling fear, Alexis is as honest as they come.

Finally, Alexis takes her power for granted as she was born with it all. She feels it is all a part of her and her identity is fairly wrapped in her powers. This is important as it relates to one of her weaknesses...


Powers:

1.) Call of the Elements (Chaos) - Alexis is capable of casting spells that use any one of the following attributes: Earth, Fire, Life, Light, Nature, Order, Thunder, Water and Wind. Spells cast in this fashion are more potent when cast either inside of a place with the same element or if cast in the protection of nature itself. A power from below that is listed as a specific attribute is strongest when cast in that attribute (Such as Stop being cast using nature).

2.) Stop (Nature) - Alexis can stop someone in their tracks. Someone of equal power to her can resist this, but the power will stop them briefly and then they will be slow once they break free of the stopping power. This power does not use any form of mental manipulation, but rather is like "tying" someone up. A root comes out of the ground to hold the person in place. Or maybe some invisible wall keeps them from going forward. These are only examples, but in short, the power is physical and does not work against non-physical beings.

3.) Heal (Life) - Alexis can heal minor wounds.

4.) Whisper of the Wind (Wind) - Alexis can call upon the wind to blow in a specific direction for a brief moment. This is also a divination spell, allowing Alexis to ask the wind to blow in the direction of a person or object she wishes to find.

5.) Organize (Order) - If there are pieces to a whole dis-organized, Alexis can cause them to "assemble" in the correct order. This does not fix the object, but simply shows where the pieces would go.

6.) Illuminate (Light) - Alexis can light up a room.

7.) Protective Bubble (Wind) - An invisible shield surrounds Alexis with a recycling air system, allowing her to be places such as under water without worry.

8.) Storm (Thunder/Water/Wind) - With a lot of effort, be it high emotion or concentration, Alexis can pull her power to summon a storm once every 24 hours. The storm will last 1 hour and will include heavy rain, thunder, lightning and wind. This can not happen in a barren place such as a desert or on a cloudless day.

9.) Fireball (Fire) - Whether to light a candle or throw a large ball of fire 3 feet in diameter, Alexis can summon fire literally from nowhere. This power is fueled by anger. At small portions (such as lighting a candle), it doesn't require any anger but the larger the fire, the more anger is required.

Special: This spell is not able to be initially cast in any other attribute besides fire. However, once it hits a target, Alexis can change it's attribute via the "Call of the Elements" power.

9.) Lightning Bolt (Thunder) - Alexis can shoot lightning from her fingertips, causing her opponent to be shocked and thus stunned in addition be being harmed.

Special: This spell is not able to be initially cast in any other attribute besides fire. However, once it hits a target, Alexis can change it's attribute via the "Call of the Elements" power.

10.) Strong (Nature) - Alexis can bench 1,000 Lbs. This is not a spell, but more of a blessing of nature that Alexis never asked for. She uses it, but not abusively. Due to it's nature, this is not counted as magic and thus would not be negated even if all Alexis' magic is gone.

11.) Teleportation (Light) - Alexis is capable of teleporting far distances. The farther the distance, the more concentration and time the spell takes. Instantaneously, Alexis is able to teleport 25 feet. More than that and things get slightly more difficult (Such as taking a full second in order to teleport 50-200 feet). This also takes a great deal of energy the farther Alexis travels, making it her less preferred method of transportation.

12.) Flight (Wind) - Alexis can fly at about 10 mph with as much ease as a person can walk. Faster takes more effort and can exhaust Alexis. However, even as much fun as flight is, Alexis prefers to walk so she can feel the ground under her feet.



Skills:

1.) Magic Sculpting - Alexis quite frequently enjoys sculpting from the elements and is pretty good at it. A dancing flame becomes a dancing woman made of fire. A raging river might have a beautiful building made of water rise out of it. This skill in and of itself isn't magic, but it does require Alexis' magic to put to use just like piloting requires a jet to put it to use.

2.) Out of Body - Alexis knows how to leave her body, entering the spirit world. But that is all she knows how to do as far as the spirit world is concerned, thus can explore in this way, but can't effect people or objects while outside of her body.


Weaknesses:

1.) Speak Your Mind! (Fire) - Alexis is not subtle and probably never will be. She speaks her mind and has no intention to cover up anything. That said, if questioned, she'll tell anything someone wants to know except other people's secrets. For those, she will out and out say she promised to keep such a secret. So getting reliable info from Alexis is easy and you don't even need her tied up for it. Just ask or taunt her into telling you. This same problem gets her in trouble with her friends from time to time since she may say something they don't want to hear.

2.) Magic Identity (Nature) - Alexis feels so close with her powers that the absence of them would be to her what the absence of an arm or leg would feel like to you or I. Should Alexis be stripped of her powers, she would be defiant and persistent at first, thanks to her passionate nature. But her impatience would have her lack of magic feel like an eternity and it would only be a matter of 5 minutes before she broke down and cried, quickly acting like a crack addict begging for money to buy drugs.

3.) No Real Skill (Darkness) - Alexis relies so much on magic that her one skill also relies on her ability to use magic. Similar to the Magic Identy weakness, this weakness acknowledges just how low a lack of magic would bring Alexis. In this case, she would have nothing left to fall back on besides her strength.

4.) Racist (Fire) - Due to her stubborn nature, Alexis tends to have her mind made up about entire races simply by the actions of most of said race. She could be racist about a good race in that she would refuse to believe an individual from that race is corrupt until it becomes blatantly obvious. Or she could be racist the way we all are more familiar with: disliking someone because most of his or her race did something Alexis found distasteful. That said, Alexis CAN overcome her racism, but only one person at a time and over a long period of that individual proving themselves the opposite of what Alexis believes them to be.


Equipment:

1.) Clothes (Mundane) - Alexis' power is innate and so she finds no need for keeping anything on her besides clothing. She believes possessions are fleeting and that nature doesn't make mistakes or leave anything out, thus a person should have all they need when born. The clothes are due to being raised by parents who believed in covering yourself, but save that and Alexis would be walking around nude. However, since she does wear clothing, she figures she may as well express beauty in the clothes she wears, so she wears very colorful and pretty clothing.

2.) Ruler's Ring (Divine) - Every ruler of an attribute gets this ring. The ring can teleport their owner and anyone he or she touches to the owner's respective city's throne room. It can not teleport anywhere else; not even the place it just came from. The ring is somewhat sentient, understands when it is in danger it can not handle and will warn their wearer to leave if such danger occurs. Should the ring get destroyed somehow, it will vanish just before destruction can overtake it and it will teleport to its respective ruler's throne room unharmed.

3.) Ruler's Crown (Divine) - Each ruler has their own crown shaped for their position. Whoever wears this crown is respected by everyone to some degree and anyone of the same alignment is bound by law to obey the wearer's every command. It has the power to stay on the head of it's wearer no matter what until the wearer willingly takes it off and gives it to someone. It also has the power to protect it's wearer from any form of mind control, even giving it's wearer reminders to not take it off when they are tempted by words.

Nature: This crown represents nature and appears as a bunch of flowers woven together.



History:
Alexis was born with the ability to pull magic from all around her and shape it in any way she desires. She even has the potential to learn how to shape Death, Darkness and Chaos magics, but has grown to be a bit stubbornly against such magics. She was raised in the forest city by very loving and heroically selfless parents. Some think were it not for Alexis' particular parents, she would have wound up evil, but who can say? Alexis was extremely power since birth, but her parents were wise and had the school of magic in their area keep her in check so that the parents could enforce their discipline on Alexis without worry of being torched by an angry infant.

As time passed, Alexis became an incredibly stubborn version of her parents, holding on to their ideals like it was all she had. But it would soon come to pass that Alexis was told she was chosen by nature to be the next ruler of the nature attribute. This recent event has helped Alexis very little as she continues to be stubborn and short-tempered, but there is still yet hope as she has not had enough time to make many enemies just yet...
