Corbin Frost

Corbin Frost
Vampire -- Appears to be in his early 40's
+1 Attractiveness; +3 Charisma

Height: 5' 11"
Hair: Brown  --  Eyes: Brown

Corbin Frost was 42 years old when he was turned into a vampire. He's never discussed the details of how that came to pass, or revealed who sired him. Whenever he is asked how old he is, Corbin will break into a sly smile and reply, "More than two centuries, but less than three."

Vampires don't live as long as Corbin, unless they learn to keep a low profile but, all of that changed when the paranormal stepped out of the shadows. Not only are supernaturals accepted as real, but they've been given equal protection under the law. Corbin quickly embraced the changes. He used the romantic mystique long associated with vampires to his advantage. He seduced wealthy women, got himself invited to all the right parties, and rubbed elbows with society's movers and shakers.

A couple of years ago, he wrote a book about his escapades called, "Tales of a Dead Man". It spent several weeks on the New York Times best sellers list. The success of the book led to the talk show circuit, bringing Corbin the kind of notoriety that granted him even more access to the city's inner circles. He is a popular guest at society's biggest events.

Corbin is a regular contributor to the Independent News Service while he works on his next book. His Tuesday feature is called "Over My Dead Body", and is primarily a gossip column about Chicago's elite, both human and supernatural. He's careful to not name too many names, and frequently just uses initials when he discusses who has been seen stepping out on who. The rich and powerful never know which is worse, being mentioned in one of Corbin's stories, or being ignored by him. On Fridays he answers questions submitted by readers in a Q&A feature called, "Dead Man Talking". The questions range from queries about Chicago's high society to fashion tips, etiquette do's and don'ts, and what it's really like to be a vampire.

For a dead guy, Corbin is out-going and full of life. He loves indulging in the finer things the world has to offer, and never shies away from attention. He is always impeccably dressed in expensive suits. Getting him on staff was quite the catch for the INS. Corbin's features draw the most hits on the website, and drive the advertising dollars.

He bought Hugh Hefner's former home, the original Playboy Mansion, in the Gold Coast District of Chicago. Corbin spent a lot of money restoring the place to its original decor. (Corbin is a longtime friend of Hefner's and was a frequent guest at the infamous home.) If you want to know if the restoration included the fireman's pole to the basement pool, you'll have to get invited to one of Corbin's famous parties.
