A lupus born Strider, Walks-in-the-Dark stands less than 3 feet at the shoulder, and weighs 90 pounds, in lupus form. Large for a jackal, but small compared to the lupus forms of other tribes. He was incredibly old as a jackal before he made his First Change. That relative age has marked him. His fur is marked with white at the muzzle, and the scar crossing his left eye is edged in white fur as well.

His homid form stands a lofty 6'2", and is as grizzled as his lupus form. White slashes through his facial hair and at his temples, and the scar across his eye seems more weathered. Unlike a great many lupus born, Walks-in-the-Dark has learned to be comfortable in his human form, and with human speech. He even has human style identification under the human name he chose to use at the urging of his mentor.
