Standing at an average 5' 9" height, Fitz is a wiry man.  His lack of physique comes from too many days behind the books and scrabbling behind closed doors.  He has short brown hair that's already graying a bit at the temples, with cool slate grey eyes that often has a look of analyzing his surroundings.  His friends and packmates know when he is writing when he exhibits the common signs of his craft: two-day stubble, deep bags under the eyes, and the shakes of a caffeine addict.

Casually, he still he often dresses in black slacks and a grey overshirt, and cycles through a couple of t-shirts: a couple of conventions he as been to, and one or two t-shirts of Fangs Over New York, a semi-popular horror series.  He is never seen without his beaten-up black laptop case that has a bloodied pen stuck into the side pouch in a place of honor.  He has been seen sporting a band of titanium around his ring finger.
In business dress he wears a sharp black and blue suit, the better to appear as a proper CEO.  He usually institutes casual business for everyone, but keeps the suit on when higher-ups come calling.
